Lorenzo’s love of images started in the skatepark, capturing moments on film. He studied at the Academy of Art University, where he was swept away by cinematography.
The foundation of Lorenzo’s work stems from his lighting background as a gaffer. During that time he had the privilege of lighting alongside some of the industries top cinematographers. A few of his most notable projects were the Tribeca winner SWALLOW and the Emmy Award Nominee McCartney 3,2,1.
Through his cinematography, Lorenzo tries to explore the use of lighting to act as a bridge between the subject and the viewer, and through that search, achieve a deeper connection to the story. Whether it is a commercial, feature film or music video, Lorenzo’s focus never wavers from the core purpose: the story. His work has screened on streaming platforms and film festivals such as Hulu, Amazon Prime, Cannes, Cinequest and Austin After Dark.
While film carries him globally, he resides in his hometown of New York City.
